Nabucco inter-government agreement to be signed July 13
Friday 13:34, July 3rd, 2009
An inter-government agreement on the Nabucco gas pipeline will be signed in Ankara on July 13, government spokesman Domokos Szollár told MTI on Friday, confirming a report by Reuters.

Prime Minister Gordon Bajnai will sign the agreement, Szollár said.

Romanian Economy Minister Adriean Videanu told Reuters on Friday the inter-government accord on the pipeline would be signed on July 13. Turkey's demand to take 15% of the pipeline's throughput for domestic use or re-export "is solved", he added.

The Nabucco pipeline would bring gas from Central Asia to Europe, reducing the region's energy dependence on Russia. (MTI-ECONEWS)
