Canada's Linamar Corporation, the majority owner of Hungarian farm-machinery manufacturer and automotive-industry supplier Linamar Hungary, purchased 2,469,728 shares in the Hungarian company at a price of HUF 2,570 per share at a private auction on July 2, the two companies involved in the transaction announced on Friday evening.
