Communities build HUF 4.1bn sewage network

A HUF 4.1bn sewage network, supported with HUF 3.5bn in European Union funding, is being built in six communities on the Tarna River in northeast Hungary, local officials said on Wednesday. About 70pc of the residents of the communities are contributing HUF 227,000 per property to the project, said Zoltan Balazs, mayor of Kompolt, one of the cities affected by the investment.
