BUX gains 0.63% in morning, rising with peers

The Budapest Stock Exchange's main BUX index rose 0.63% to 22,650.68 by midday on Thursday as big share indices in Western Europe and the CEE region were all advancing.

OTP Bank advanced 0.72% to HUF 5,348, oil and gas company MOL gained 0.83% to HUF 20,165, drug maker Richter rose 0.78% to HUF 45,000 and Magyar Telekom lost 0.15% to HUF 681.

Share turnover amounted to HUF 5.288 billion for the morning.

Elsewhere in the CEE region, Warsaw's WIG-20 rose 0.66% and Prague's PX-50 was up 0.73%.

Major European share indices were all rising, with London's FTSE up 0.65%, Frankfurt's DAX gaining 0.52% and the CAC-40 in Paris advancing 0.48%. (MTI-ECONEWS)

K&H investment fund assets reach HUF 797 billion by June 30

OTP Bank signs $20m import credit agreement with Taiwan's eximbank

13:48, Sep 7 | Hungary's OTP Bank has signed an agreement on a $20 million refinancing credit line with the Export-Import Bank of the Republic of China (Taiwan) to provide financing for the import of products made in Taiwan to Hungary, OTP informed MTI on Tuesday.
